What do you sell/make?

I sell handmade jewelry as well as upcycled clothing and some vintage finds!

Tell me about yourself as a creator!

Well, I've always been into fashion and have been making jewelry since I was a kid. My grandma taught me how to sew when I was in 3rd grade, and since learning I've made and changed up all kinds of clothes. I'm particularly inspired by Gothic styles as well as cute/feminine styles. Think Grunge/Kinderwhore era of the 90s. And my friends and family thought, hey, you have such a distinct style, why don't you turn it into a business. Most of the things I'm selling are things I'd actually wear myself, and sometimes I model the pieces myself before selling them. Currently, I also do commissioned jewelry as well. I love having the challenge of doing whatever colors or styles customers want!

What do you hope to accomplish with this business?

I really really want something I make to be worn by Rico Nasty. I'm a big fan of her music, and as a black femme with alternative style, she's like an icon to me!

Personally, I'd also like to be there for other kids with the same style as me to see.

Where do you sell? (art festivals, store front, online?)

You can buy my stuff through Instagram DMs or on Depop! (right now I'm only shipping to the US).  Also, some people tend to ask me for stuff in person, and I just give it to them when finished.

What do you feel sets you apart from other businesses? 

I think my blend of creepy and cute styles as well as my eye for beads. I always carry an interesting selection and array of colors. Also, the styles I make. I try not to look like everyone else and do a lot of recycling (recycled beads and clothes to make new creations)
