How did you come up with the name?

A:  so much lore behind the name, but we named the band after our dog!

 

How would you describe your sound?

A:  its nostalgic but stays really fresh and new, edgy yet whimsical in nature.  we love indie music so at heart we have an indie sound but we love incorporating electronic elements to our songs.  not everything has to be traditional and we live by that.  our live set is an adventure because we do the unexpected and people seem to love that. 

 

How was the band formed? How/when did the members decide to start a band?

A:  got together in high school to impress girls but decided to stick with it because we love music so much!

 

If you had no choice but to become a cover band, who would you cover?

A:  Weezer (but only the teal album)

 

How do you deal with creative blocks as a band? How do you continue to come up with new sounds/ideas as a group?

A:  we lean on each other for new ideas which helps a lot.  also doing other things than music like traveling or just doing our favorite pastimes really gives us inspiration.

 

What is the hardest part about being in a band? What gets you through those times?

A:  staying consistent is hard sometimes but fortnite helps us recover and stay focused.

 

If your grandmother wrote a review on your band what would it most likely say?

A:  She would probably say “wow!”

 

Which song of yours was the most fun to write & make? 

A:  “July” was fun because it our first song we made as a band, but recently “Kona-Chan” was really memorable and fun to make.

 

What helps bond you as a band?

A:  traveling, playing shows, living together, and fortnite.
