AN INTERVIEW WITH
WORLD WID3 G!FT
January 2024
Describe your creative process! Is your music made in a more organized, blocked out
manner or is it more on the go/improvisational? How do you see the process shine
through in the finished product?
My creative process varies. I don’t want to go into detail because I’m not giving up any free
cheat codes sorry. People be biting everything I do I’m tired of that. But i will give advice to
Artists to find a creative process that is true your strengths and mannerisms as person. That’s
what i did.

You’ve collabed with a lot of artists! Tell me about the mindset behind that - why are you
passionate about working with (both in music & production) other artists?
Well i for one I am from Chicago. Chicago is notoriously segregated by redlining and gang
territories. I’ve always been one to challenge the status qou. I like to set trends and break
barriers and do what everyone else don’t have the nuts to do. That goes into my desire to want
to collaborate just to provide a different representation of the people from Chicago that’s not
really publicized. We are known for beef and separation but not everyone here thinks that way
or lives that way. So i wanted to be the one to spearhead that movement in Chicago. Which i
have. Over the last 3 years I’ve probably collaborated with over 30-40 upcoming artists. It’s also
gives me insight on just various perspectives that’s i be interested in. Sociology was one of my
favorite subjects in school. This is like my present day sociology class. Hopefully the people I
represent will be able to take notice of what I’m doing and apply that lifestyle to others arenas
outside of music and help make each successful. It’s necessary in my eyes.
What does making music mean to you? What got you into it/keeps you continuing?
Music means more to me than any other thing or person in my life. Its a tough realization that i
came to while working on my Upcoming album M!AHRT 2. (Pronounced My Art). It’s a play on
my Childhood nickname “Miah” short for Jeremiah and the word heart abbreviated as (HRT). So
it’s pronounced as My art but reads as Miah heart basically notating that my real love soulmate
wife down bitch is this music I’m offering to God and the world and myself. Music is all i do it’s
my entire being i make music all day i go to sleep to music i can’t stay in a relationship cause a
girl might wanna go to sleep in silence or to tv. I like to go to sleep with my beats playing. Music
is what allows me to express feelings that would never surface without it. I need music to make
sense of my experiences and emotions.

How do you keep yourself motivated and inspired - how do you deal with creative
blocks?
I’m always motivated by my real life experiences and other creative music and art in general
and nature. All these things are what typically inspire me to create. I don’t really have creative
blocks because there’s always sone form of drama or situation that’s weighing on me that
motivates me to release through music. Something i feel like I’ve been cursed with a Gift. I
randomly go through the most mind debilitating experiences( such as mental breakdowns,
murders, suicides, legal issues, loss of investment, betrayals, abandonment, poverty, being
bullied, being stolen from, hating your appearance , family issues) frequently and can only move
on by creating music about it to release and heal. Then the music helps a lot of people because
I’m transparent about it all. that’s why i keep going despite whatever issues i may be dealing
with personally. Which is a lot of issues but y’all are worth it.
You mentioned you’re based in Chicago, how does your environment affect your
music/production & mindset behind your work? (when I lived in chicago, my music & art
became a lot more frequent, my creative process sped up as I adjusted to the faster
paced chicago life - but then slowed a lot & became more finely tuned after I moved back

to Texas due to the slow and relaxed daily life here - I wonder if you have a similar
experience?)
I actually moved to Texas for a while last year and my experience was similar. Some of my best
songs were made when i lived i Texas. But being back in Chicago i think my music is more in
touch with the people who i impact. I tend to speak in situations more close to home when i am
home

What interests you about being a producer? How does working both behind the scenes
and up front aid you in your work? (how does being a producer help your music / how
does being a musician help your production?)
I like making music man. I wouldn’t even classify myself as a producer for real or a rapper for
that matter i feel like that’s job titles have lost value. Based on what i do to create music I’m
actually more like I’m a modern day composer. I am just music from top to bottom. It oozes out
of me without trying g. Working in that role is cool because you meet different artists that you
might as an artist based on how you’re type cast by whoever you’re working with or for. I don’t
really think that producing for others is aiding me in my work besides that fact that i am
collaborating and networking which is what i want to make a part of my career. Creatively
though it’s more me aiding who I’m producing for. Cause for often than not I’m helping
structuring sing layering and arranging vocals giving Melodie’s and more. So maybe it’s like
good practice for my music.

What is your current big goal? What does the future hold/what are you working towards
right now?
My goal is to have my music being played at all times across the world. 24/7 around the clock
on as many platforms as possible. My name WORLDW1D3G!FT pretty clear to see i want to be
the biggest. I want this movement of community and oneness to be global. I want my music to
inspire people to dance and heal and reach their goals. That’s what’s going on already and i just
want it to keep growing even centuries after i ascend past this earth. My next projects are zero
gravity and M!AHRT2 y’all will love them. I’m also working towards an independent tour. And I’m
above all everyday I’m planning to tell people to “Make sure Love you. Tap in to yo G!FT don’t
be lost out here”
